@glitternoodle Wait custom emojos work? Is there a picker? I looked at it for like 5m and then uninstalled it bc I couldn't figure out how to do an emoji other than manually...
@masklayer oh, sorry, by "work", i meant that when other people use them i see the actual icon as opposed to the code thing; i haven't tried putting them in my toots at all
@masklayer @glitternoodle if you know the shortcode you can put them in your toots and they work but there's no picker for them

@shel @masklayer yeah, i feel like i'll start wanting to use them once i start actually seeing them? my experience with things like this is that i gotta see them in use a *lot* before they start filtering into my own vocabulary
