I joked about reclaiming The Shadow Over Innsmouth as a trans narrative, but there actually is something interesting in the way its anxiety over bodies maps to gender as well as race.

Back from Pilates, which always makes me feel better. Not just because of endorphins (though I suspect they’re the main reason) but because the focus on breath and movement helps me inhabit my body.
