I've said it before, but the best thing about Pilates is that it's non-competitive and (at least in my class) there's no one constantly yelling that you're doing it wrong.
I can still feel the effects of last night's Pilates class, but not in a bad way. There weren't many people this close to Christmas so we got more of a workout than usual.

Spaces and organizations often have unspoken/non-codified codes of conduct, this is fairly normal.
But when you explicitly mention that you don't have a code of conduct, you are signalling something, and not a good thing at that.
