This is a pretty good discussion of NieR: Automata, except that I have exactly the opposite opinion of the "good" ending:

(Contains details of the entire story of the game, if spoilers bother you.)
DA: Inquisition: "You must reunify this divided land."
Me: "I suppose full communism and the complete destruction of the Chantry is out of the question, then?"

Not getting on with Dragon Age: Inquisition so far. I expect the story will be OK when it starts, but the "open world" stuff is a bit joyless and the interface has a lot of minor annoyances.

Which is to say, I guess, that toxic masculinity is a health hazard.
I'm not into exercise but I'm enjoying Pilates classes because they're the exact opposite of the things I've learned to associate with exercise classes. Not competitive, no macho bullshit, and no one yelling that I'm doing it wrong.
The mastodon stages:
1. new users flow in and are amazed and/or flummoxed by the UI and its affordances
2. some users stay, finding that they rather enjoy the aforementioned affordances, and the overall lack of twitter shenanigans
3. suddenly, you discover you have things to say on the nature of sexuality and interpersonal relationships that you never knew you were uncomfortable talking about until you came here
4. there will be hugs, for those who want or need them

It's something I appreciate as one of the six people (estimated) who played and liked Crimson Sea 2 on the PS2.
Victor Vran is a fascinating example of how small design choices can get the best out of a mediocre game.

Anyway, Dragon Age: Inquisition is up next so the important question is - mage or rogue?
I think I lost my emotional connection with the characters at some point - possibly because I got the D ending first - after which it started to get annoying. And the fourth-wall-breaking nods and winks didn't help, either.
Finished NieR: Automata, but I feel like ending E has used up all the considerable goodwill I had for the game.
