@BadWrongFun I think it's that, visually speaking, all the best designs are rip-offs. So that's what you see in the artwork.

@Murkrow More "threat" than "support", I think.

@myst I generally just scroll through the federated timeline (muting bots as I go) and follow anyone I come across who seems nice.

I think the most frustrating thing about being in an abusive or toxic family when you're black is that there is always this reality of, "The outside world is virulently racist, so who else can you rely on?"

Everyone has something they will lash out to protect. For most, it's their self-image.

@Murkrow Lemon wedges seem a bit sophisticated for urban foxes - they’re probably looking for a pint of snakebite and a kebab. Although the area is gentrifying...

While I was sleeping, two new features got merged for inclusion in the next version! :o

- Optional federated reports (users can anonymously report to the originating instance in addition to their own admin)

- Force unfollow (being able to boot someone from your follower list without having to block-unblock them)

These are both things I am excited to see! :)

Collectively, we’ve spent enough time trying to understand bigots.

The future is building community with people who actually give shit rather than trying convince insufferable people to be decent beings.

@Murkrow I melt through with a small saucepan of hot water. (By contact with the bottom of the pan, that is. Not pouring boiling tap water into the pond.)

@lauraritchie Thanks - I will. (And the strike seems solid enough without my help. I’ll stay in reserve in case it drags on.) Hope you’re keeping warm yourself.

(I’m at home on my last strike day this week. Picketing on Monday started to bring my cold back, so I’ll take it easy for now and aim to do some more next week.)
