Also Also Reminder: People who enjoy creating drama very much want you to pick a side and start denouncing people. It’s OK to just save you energy and sit it out or go somewhere else.
@polychrome That’s very much what I try to cultivate in myself... but I tend to get frustrated and start subtooting ;-)
@ghost_bird @polychrome X parts "Why can't you see multiple points of view/registers" to Y parts "I don't know...fix it?" to Z parts "Fix it. Now. I mean, that's what you're telling each other. This Is Clearly How Humans Communicate It Seems So There." To A' parts "OK, overwhelmed now, bye".
Most if not all subtweeting/tooting the entire social map of whoever's involved.
Figuring out that it's ok and even encouraged to avoid drama on here was a huge relief, esp. compared to other platforms.
@ghost_bird I have a reputation as a "drama teflon" because I either start considering both sides or just express a complete disinterest in the attempts to engage.
Turns out nothing defuses drama as quickly as being boring. o.O
