@kara It’s a terrible film, but I find it fascinating as the apotheosis of a certain kind of very earnest 70s SF cinema that no one makes any more.
@ghost_bird it's hard for me to call the film bad...I disagree with some of its basic premises, but it's lucid enough in putting them across, I think
@kara I find it very long and far too convinced of its own originality and importance - so I think of the lucidity as one of its weaknesses, in a way. But there’s a reason it still gets shown while other films of the era generally don’t.
