I really wish I knew someone else who's read Ninefox Gambit and The Raven Strategem by Yoon Ha Lee that I could discuss them with. I like these books but I feel like there's a huge gap in my understanding of them. Like how the calendar lets everyone do space magic.
@srol I’ve read them but I don’t have much to offer on the calendar thing, except perhaps that it’s probably based on astrology-obsessed Joseon Korea?
