My fscking PC has taken to hanging about five minutes after it boots - I think because some part of a Windows update is interacting badly with my rather old hardware.
This is demoralising because I was supposed to be working from home tomorrow morning and because now I have to buy a new PC, and if you sometimes like to play games then buying a new PC involves burning fistfuls of money while immersing yourself in endless bullshit.
...or, as it turns out, I can just say “fuck it” and order a reconditioned PC with last year’s midrange spec for about the price of a console. Which is annoying, but much better than the alternatives.
