@azurai Alas, I ended up picking Merrill - Fenris is cuter, but my (F/Rogue) Hawke's strong pro-mage/anti-slavery views kept him ambivalent.
@azurai Same, for both "too soft" and "sarcastic charmer". My Hawke was supportive of Merrill but underestimated the dangers of blood magic, so the Eluvian tragedy came as a shock.
I played a Mage in Origins - which put me off the Chantry for good - but a rogue was obviously going to be the most fun for DA2, with the urban setting and tighter focus. I'm deciding what to choose for Inquisition, though...
