@abbenm the ironic thing what they want is the very thing that freedom of speech is supposed to protect us from. People with power/privilege silencing those without.
Interesting parallel between (a) alt-right trolls who think "free speech" means freedom to crush and poison communities and rob them of better, richer conversations (2) laissez-faire free market types who think economic "freedom" means a world where most of us are employed by companies capable of limiting our freedom in so many ways.
Both embrace "freedom" as an abstract principle but destroy it in practice.
