Gods I failed so hard FB is open the whole time and I've totally gotten sucked in 😥
@abgd I make a point of logging of FB when I'm finished to remind myself I'm trying to keep away from it.

@abgd yea it's really hard.
@abgd @geekylou yeah, that's a thing. I made a point for about a month before leaving of reminding my friends to add my email, phone/Signal number, JID, and matrix ID to their address books. Haven't had any connections due to that, but maybe your social connections are stronger than mine.
I have found some of those people on birbsite, which I don't really use much, but I've got a fallback connection that way.
@abgd @geekylou I ended up deactivating my Facebook account for basically this reason. Facebook free for three months now!
