I bought a Steam Link because they are down to £16. It's actually metal and quite heavy, and supplied with several cables and a robust power supply with multiple adapters. No wonder it was so expensive when it launched.
Steam on my PC is asking for the steam link authorisation code but the steam link is updating itself instead.
I was quite impressed that turning on the steam controller will wake the steam link, turn on the TV, and remotely wake my PC. Less impressed when I realised it won't let me unlock the PC even though I have a keyboard attached to the steam link.
@latentexistence that's probably microsoft's fault.
@geekylou Could be, though it got as far as displaying the lock screen even though it wouldn't send input.
