Re last boost, I can see why you'd want to archive toots, but at the same time there are problems with social media posts being forever and coming back to haunt people. Maybe we should go the other way and make everything ephemeral.
@latentexistence the trouble with stuff like Mastodon is they will be possible to be archived by bad actors anyway (you just need to download the atom stream manually).

@geekylou That is true. I think it should be best effort, so although someone could save your posts, at least the scope would be limited to when they started stalking.
