but yeah, so often in jobs etc I see one allist give another a totally vague task, they'll go along and do it wrong, and get congratulated

okay so allistics often *literally don't find that stressful*. they are just perfectly content blithering along doing things wrong. i suspect they feel the same way about social interaction. so often i watch them have conversations in which both parties think communication happened, but their perceptions of the content don't match. they just go on that way and have a fight later
PSA: If you are in the web view of a remote instance of some user or toot, you cannot directly reply/boost/fav.
But you can copypaste the URL into your local Mastodon server's "Search" field, then it allows you to interact!

Ultimately Mastodon's killer feature is that it's a public good that someone built because they thought it needed to exist and not a startup someone built because they wanted to get rich quick selling other people's data.

relying on individual users to filter their own content, thus forcing them to regularly see and engage content that is offensive or harmful to them is the reason people prefer this to twitter.
