it's weird that you usually can't taste the insides of your own mouth bc you perceive it as "neutral tasting"

@Tom I'm not sure it is neural tasting, is it ? I can still have a sense of taste of my inner mouth. It's more true if I have small cuts, but I'm not sure I cannot taste it at all. Well, it's still a very faint taste.
@fluffy i oh yeah you can definitely taste blood and whatnot but that doesn't fall under "usually" imo
@Tom But I'm guessing my mouth taste (sounds really weird written like that) is not homogenous, so I can detect faint tastes ?
