I came across the pregnancy warnings when I was, well, pregnant. I think it was covered in some literature given out during prenatal classes.

@distelfliege You're welcome. :) It's considered hazardous here if you expose yourself to it frequently for the same reasons: potential fertility and fetal issues. The only thing I've seen it used for is in DIY laundry soaps, but I know others use it extensively in home cleaning.

My mum, for example, has lots of fragrance allergies, so she makes her own laundry detergent with it.

The actual chemical, but "purified" into boric acid. It's sold under both borax and boric acid, depending upon the breand.

Mind, I'm in Canada, but we use here, too. The most common brand I've seen is Mule Team.

@theycallmemo He's fantastic when you just need to, like, soothe yourself into a stupor. I cannot be in a rage when I watch Bob Ross. It's some kind of weird, calming entrancement.

@nightingaleyes This is pretty much exactly how I feel about it all. Minus having a plan, because I am not in that sector.

So while it was a great session, I'm still feeling very raw, and kind of want to be left alone for a while to regroup, process, and just rebalance.

I'm still working on coming to terms with being told I'm oversensitive. That really hurt, for some reason. (Prolly 'cause I'm oversensitive. Duh.) But I'm working on it, and that's good!

But for now, maybe a small rest and a cup of hot cocoa.

Had my counselling session on the phone this afternoon, because the weather was too dicey to drive for the appointment.

We talked a lot about excuses and being patient with yourself, and it all really... Well, it was like being a newbie meditator again. Everything we talked about is what I tell my meditation students! I guess I got knocked off my path, and Dr. Alexander is my guide, my guru to getting back there and moving forward.

@swordjaw I went for a couple accessories for my Jibun Techo planner - an extra notebook, some sticky notes, the usual. Then, somehow, there were a few sketchbooks in the cart, and a couple Zebra Mildliners.

And that was me behaving myself. >_>;; But in fairness, I did need the sketchbooks?
