In theory, cake. Given more careful consideration, pie. Pie is much more versatile: sweet, savoury, hand-sized, ginormous, good hot or cold, can be topped and/or garnished with just about anything.

Cake, on the other hand, has been the subject of so many culinary abuses. Meatloaf cake with mashed potato icing and gravy drizzle is the most egregious offender I can think of offhand. There is nothing even remotely appetizing about that. And how are you going to serve that? Hot? Room temp? Cold?

This is my #bulletjournal for the first part of the week. I'm using an A6 grid notebook from Peter Pauper Press these days, sizing up from Field Notes notebooks (pocket sized). This week I got down to it and restarted for the first time since I went on stress leave a month ago. Today, which is on the next page, is a lot less messy. So consider this the "before" pic, I guess? 😄

It definitely depends upon the instance you join. witches.town is ridiculously social & has a bot that boosts posts (haven't figured out criteria on that yet), so there's a lot of following and interaction.

If you're feeling adventurous, load up the federated timeline and start liking/fav'ing posts by folks, check out their profiles, give them a follow. Inter-instance follows ensue!

If you wanna see/"meet" more people on your instance, load up your local timeline & do the same.

So one "great" thing about having excessively painful cramping my entire period-having life is that it's given me the ability to better handle nausea-inducing levels of pain.

Of course, this works against you when you're having that level of pain due to appendicitis & health care professionals refuse to believe you until you actually throw up as "proof" of your nausea-inducing levels of pain.

In conclusion: OW OW OW, MY UTERUS, OW. I'm going to lay on the couch all day. OW.
