This overlay is a bit too harsh, but after talking over performance concerns with tterag I've been thinking of adding CTM support to Engination. Thoughts anyone?
I was hoping - but unable - to distinguish the difference between partialTick look and tick look when drawn together. One just obscures the other.
So it looks like:
* Entity::getLookVec()
* Entity::getLook(partialTicks)
and
* Entity::getForward()
all return the same camera vector.
Quality software.

Believe it or not I had sort of prepared a neat little tootstorm on OoO and speculative execution when I realised that what is really needed is an analysis on what tradeoffs were chosen as opposed to yet another OoO description.
What seems to be missing from everything I have read are two points:
a) speculative execution and OoO go back a long time (IBM S/360 model 85),
b) they are essential for performance: you simply cannot get “the numbers” otherwise.

I am incredibly proud to say that people are abusing the fact that scarves can be as long as you want to make them
