i cant believe im making 300€ in a day to do this. i had no training, no onboarding, learning as i go, and the admin staff whos in charge has no idea about tech stuff, so they defer to my judgement basically any time i want. well, i find it a lot better than being a junior dev just working on bullshit i dont care about with now power and unreasonably high expectations

teaching a front end web development course to 12 students, mostly refugees, is my new job! today we spent most of the day learning how to structure folders for web sites, and then learning bash and simple bash commands in order to do it in the terminal :D the students were really in to it. they were quizzing each other on bash commands even on break. it was really cute :3

finally leaving this flatshare which has "i <3 isreal" plastered everywhere, and living with an antideutsche who is converting to judaism in order to add power to their arguments that the isreal state is necessary and good and to claim oppression from other germans. they have told me that they are converting to move away from their germanness, that once they convert they wont really be german, they can talk about circumcision negatively without it being antisemitism, etc. im so done living with an antideutsche.

im in this facebook group "silly linguistics" and someone posted "whats the difference between sex and gender" and its basically a transmisogyny/trans-antagonist free for all up in there. i basically commented and linked in the mods saying that tolerating this kind of shit is exactly how to make trans ppl leave your group and run a trans antagonistic community... god fucking damn it.
