You know what? If you want to make a difference in the world today, don't make your tech US centric.
Why the fuck all of these company make a point to be in SF. What is the idea behind that?
A lot of the mass surveillance problems are tied to silicon valley itself. If you don't even reflect on that, why bother?

well, now we've scientifically proven that male scientists (you know, those people trained to be objective) show gender bias. in fact, according to one study, when asked to evaluate research on gender bias against women in science, they always preferred the fake research suggesting that no such bias exists. and before i hear you men whining, the head researcher on that last one was a man. sorry men, but it's pretty obvious you're biased, even when you think you're not.
