I started test driven development with my students today, who are learning unit tests really early in their programming careers (3 weeks in to Javascript). It's really good, it makes them slow down, run their code often, work incrementally, and get their expectations out of their brains and in to the code. My idea is that I wish I learned TDD from the beginning, so I'm trying to do for them what I wish had been done for me. I love them.
@dargi_dargon no I don't live in portland anymore :(:(

Trader Joe's microwave mac and cheese. I need someone to ship this to me in Germany.
@FuckOffGoogle you should take a loot at the work of activists against gentrification/tech dystopia in San Francisco who are really the first when it comes to this. I did an analysis about racist Google maps in Neukölln, and used to work on the SF based 'anti gentrification map project' and would love to do some more of that in berlin
Hit me up people if you want to do some activist data analytics / GIS against Google and gentrification in Berlin.
Of course I know about that!
"HIGHS EXPENSIVE," right?

Some guys just catcalled me by saying 'respect' over and over in a sexual way. Wut.
@phryk ah was just saying because flexbox and css grids are good for removing unnecessary divs from floating grids :)
@phryk although I could recommend css grid and flexbox if you're not using it
@phryk if u see a production site made using bootstrap (20 nested divs each with 5+ classes) u might feel less guilty about using a few levels of nesting and divs. I know how u feel but it's not bad!
I keep having nightmares that my phone shatters and the body bends :(
Whenever a Finnish person says 'finish' I lose it.
