@natanji it sucks, like i can put off the conversation for some time, but not forever. siunds like it would be even harder with a partner... welp im not attracted to this person in the slightest. we just dont have a good living dynamic. nothing overtly maliscious. theres just a big pressure to be her emo support because im trans and because all her friends/partners ran away this year and i was living here thru that. i didnt ask for the job.....

i also feel really responsible for her feelings, beccause she has few friends. and i feel that because shes constantly crying that theres never a good time to bring up my boundaries. 2 things i need to talk about but i dont have energy to manage the emotional impact of me talking about my boundaries. i wish i could be able to support her in how it would make her feel, but having this as a "requirement" makes it feel like i have to be really stable to make a request

earlier today my room mate was sobbing with her door wide open, and it was really, really loud even with my door closed and series on. i know things are shitty for her sometimes, but im really really depressed and overwhelmed and really wiuld prefer if they closed the door.i went to her and said im sorry i dint have the emotional capacity to request this with more compassion and space for her issues, but i would really like if the closed the door when sobbing......

i am so frequently asked by strangers if im "studying, or on vacation"... like i asked someone if the buses are running again and they asked "r u here for studies, or just vacation?" grrr

so today when i met a random german person i asked them if they are in berlin to study or if they are on vacation. have a taste.

Currently at the SoCraTes Day Berlin, for Software Craft and Test Driven Development. Gave a talk on classism in technology. Had a great turn out and started some awesome and important discussion.
