The dominant cultural image of a woman is highly racialized, classist, heteronormative, and impossible. All those generic pop feminism body image campaigns apply to you too. You're just saying "woman" while they say "pretty." Actually take a look at the jawlines, shoulders, upper lips, etc. Of the women you see in daily life. The random middle aged moms on the bus. Customers. Co-workers. People who are physically present not in photos.

Her facial structure is definitely what many trans women look at and go "i look like a man" but rosie o'donnel is a celebrity that people aren't confused by like she's undeniably a woman who looks like a woman. plenty of cis women pass with ALL of these things being the trans women see or as seen as "failing to be a woman"
@maunzikation @eribloodlust if u just are confidently a woman, aren't "trying too hard", and in a normal setting where ppl aren't expecting trans people, nobody will even question these traits cuz cis women have them all the time
@eribloodlust @maunzikation when you're looking at yourself, or a trans woman, the criteria you're using to determine if you "pass as a woman" or "look like a woman" aren't being defined by what normal women look like but by this idealized TV woman. Most/Many cis women, if held to those criteria, would be deemed as "not cis passing"
like if u told a cis person that many cis women were trans they might go "yeah i could tell"
