I can't believe I used to live there.
"According to our most recent national rent report, San Francisco rent prices were stable last month with one and two bedrooms priced at $3,370 and $4,500, respectively. "
So sad for the Mission District, used to be a centre of working class Latinx culture and now it's the second most expensive neighbourhood in the city. And the new residents are upper class white techies, who call the cops on the locals, who support anti homeless laws though they made those people homeless.
Also for context, one of the best funded 'housing activists' (who advocates for building of luxury condos and trickle down housing) has called Latino people who want to keep their homes and maintain the culture of their neighbourhood, "exactly the same as Trump supporters". And of course, the libertarian techies just love that comparison.
