* Tech industry sexism and racism infecting and destroying politically progressive communities
* Govt corruption underbuilding low income housing and permitting the destruction of existing low income housing
* Progressive people, unionized workers, even teachers can no longer afford it, and have been displaced.
Its a feelgood neoliberal consumerist shithole, with only a thin veener of "ethical consumption" over the real inequality behind.
@eribloodlust I wager that it's being considered progressive is because most other places in the USA are so backwards and exploitative that it makes San Francisco look like an egalitarian utopia in comparison.
