I dissociated severely from the age of twelve, and started dissociating less after turning eighteen. Just blank spaces in my mind that I didn't remember.

I got in a lot of fights too.

Mae's experiences legit made me feel more okay about it. Her friends caring so deeply and so accurately about her experience made me fucking cry.

No other experience has summed up how dissociating like that feels. I've asked my friends to play it because I wanted them to understand what happened.
