It had a background that changed in colour depending on the time. You could roughly tell the time from that alone.

No other OS has ever had that. I miss the fuck out of it and it was like ten years ago.

Omg today I learned how fragile macbook screens are. Knocked my phone into it and it's now entirely smashed. Like inch thick lines of broken pixels :(

But when someone continually weakens themselves by sharing things far beyond what the other person can process, they can make it so that their situation is continuously & irredemably difficult. In a way this weakening is a shield - it prevents close individuals from ever criticising them. It provides a shield to abuse.

When someone is having a difficult time, it is good to be kinder to them. To criticise them when they feel weak is cruel, even when it hurts you to keep these issues to yourself.

When someone shares something that would enable another to easily hurt them, we feel they are deliberately weakening themselves. This can be an expression of trust when the individual feels they have good reason to share the information.
