Feature idea for #Mastodon:
You can edit toots for up to 10 minutes after you post. When you do, an asterisk appears somewhere on the toot to indicate that you've done it - but there is no version/change-tracking and no way for admins to see previous versions of a toot, meaning risk of abuse. Also, edits might not roll out to boosted versions of your toot.
How would you feel about this feature?
FUN FACT:
I use Mastodon as my primary public social network not because of the increased default character limit (though it is nice) but because this place has a community of people I care about and people I can actually interact with without necessarily feeling like I am wasting their or my time.
There are other things that keep me here but that's the first thing that comes to mind.
