I feel inadequate to respond to the #OccultTalk topic because I've been very imitative, so far, in what I've used for magick. also I'm hesitant to describe any sequence of actions I've improvised as a proper "spell".
I'd *like* to design sigils (what distinguishes a sigil from any other symbol anyway?) but it's been difficult for me to come up with anything that didn't look goofy to me. one reason I borrow so much, I suppose; it's not silly if someone else uses it.
@kara Honestly, I borrow sigils CONSTANTLY, and I've been witching for like 2 years now.
Borrowing and adapting is really great
@thatdelphox @kara I think like 50% of mine are borrowed, I feel like I just slowly adapt them over time as I redraw them again and again

@edensaesthetic @thatdelphox *nods* I'm naturally inclined to mimicry (another reason I think I may be on the autism spectrum; I'm like a lyre bird, adding quotes and turns of phrase and bits of behavior to my own store from things I watch and people I meet) and, by contrast, feel paralysis when I'm asked to devise anything out of my own head :/
