Anyone struggling to wake up because of sedatives - get a SAD lamp if you can.
I'm super freaking groggy in the mornings without it, it feels like being a teenager again in waking up, falling back asleep again and again.
It wakes you up by slowly turning on a light that your body thinks is sunlight, which is meant to cheer you up. It also just wakes you slowly and gently, so it feels nicer
@DragonMagic I think mine was sixty GBP off Amazon, and that was the cheapest non awful one I could find. I'll ask a few of my friends that have them though.
@edensaesthetic I bought a cheap one on Amazon, I guess it's not a SAD one... The light starts abruptly, and only then it brightens slowly. It still helps, but it's not exactly gentle... Would recommend to buy SAD lamps if afordable.

@edensaesthetic i've been really interested in getting a sun lamp, but I've been intimidated by how expensive they can get, do you know where to find affordable sun lamps?
