watched the Patriots lose and then hung around talking pubg with a couple old college friends

overall a pretty good night

one of my friends at the party with me is a pats fan so i'm trying not to be TOO blatant but i'm defs rubbing it in a bit #sports #football

my personal highlight remains Tom Brady trying and failing to pull a Matt Stafford

(the lions pulled basically the same play (the trick where they passed to the qb) as an 2 pt conversion in the last game of the season that literally did not matter. i saw it live it was beautiful)

downsides of being a librarian: people keep looking to me to be the one to whip out my phone and check the chances of a scorigami

upside: i always want to be the one to check anyway because of who i am as a person

i fired off the spicy take in a crowd full of men that Beyonce does better in heels and i stand by it

i've done my part for women everywhere by being loudly unimpressed by JT at the halftime show

it's still not a subtoot unless you count cross-platform callouts because i'm definitely looking at you, everyone on my fb/birdsite feeds

i'm making a romance book list for february and pulling the covers from amazon because tbh it's just faster

my purchase suggestions are going to be utterly ruined, take that algorithms

to be clear i'm not talking about political opinions of sports organizations or health concerns that go along with playing sports - those are valid and real and important opinions

i'm talking about "har har sportsball look at this guy throwing a ball around instead of doing math or whatever," feeling self-important for not knowing who's playing etc etc
