if you're in #tabletop / #ttrpgs please please read it. hopefully it's not new information but if it's at all surprising to you PLEASE make an effort to look around at your local groups and try to see if this is happening to anyone around you. it's not always as blatant as "let the real gamers play," things like discrepancies in time players get per turn are so real and so hard to spot if you aren't looking for them or experiencing them
