hey if football isn't your thing that's fine but consider:
football isn't so much a sport as a strategy game
if you're into strategy, watch a game or two with that in mind and see what you think

valid but each individual player is working together under a general play call to strategize as a team which makes it p different from strategy board games where one person controls a side (you can make an argument for the coach or qb being the "player" in this scenario but there's still a lot of individual strategizing involved with football players that you don't see from board game pieces)
and i defs think the NFL needs to do everything in its power (a lot more than it's doing) to minimize injury/make things safer for players but 4 games is a big exaggeration. injuries definitely introduce randomness but plenty of players play a full season

16+ playoffs, in comparison basketball and hockey have 82+playoffs and baseball apparently has a whopping 162 so ‘theres not enough games to remove luck as a major factor, which is not necessarily a flaw but I personally find frustrating” is, I think, a fair call
