to be clear i'm not talking about political opinions of sports organizations or health concerns that go along with playing sports - those are valid and real and important opinions
i'm talking about "har har sportsball look at this guy throwing a ball around instead of doing math or whatever," feeling self-important for not knowing who's playing etc etc
