had my annual "you are almost over your limit for sick leave before we have to start disciplinary action" meeting
which always feels interestingly like disciplinary action
anyway they have a goddamn note on file from my doctor because we've been over this every single year, but i've changed managers 3 times and directors twice so i guess i'm just going to have to keep explaining that not everyone has the luxury of being a "model" employee who never takes a sick day because for some reason that's what that entails and not just like, my actual work which is mostly excellent
health stuff, capitalism, i'm furious tbh Afficher plus
i know everyone always says never mention your illness/disability in interviews because of unconscious bias or whatever but
if that bias is going to be there anyway i'd almost rather just throw it out there and see who's still willing to hire me
the answer would be "no one" but on the off-chance someone did maybe they'd at least be somewhat understanding when it comes to my everyday work?
