@jenkshields have you read the broken earth trilogy by nk jemisin? i started the fifth season a bit after ancillary so i always sort of think of those trilogies together even though they're pretty different. both have great characters and fascinating worlds though

@jenkshields nice! yeah it's excellent, nk jemisin almost single-handedly got me back into reading fantasy after i'd kind of avoided it for a few years
