yeah facebook is in a weird space, i found it really jarring when i first got it (~2007 iirc) because it was the first time people i knew irl we're making contact online. before then i had always thought of the internet and the physical world as separate places

i don't use it much these days either but ironically i actually have a few internet friends that i'm only in contact with there, so i'm hesitant about deleting it
