@morganastra @bob TBH I use my Kindle. I never read DRMed books. You can, and I do, use Calibre to manage it.
You have to convert epubs to mobi files, which is silly (get with the programme Amazon!), but that can be done easily, reliably, and quickly IME

Maps.me is nice and easy for new users. Like OSMAnd, you can do offline maps for free. Downside: They have a tie in with booking.com so they show hotels from there.

It's really weird looking at the old stereo system my family had back in the 80's, with the speaker hookups that were just bare wires we had to jam into holes, and also they didn't even have always on microphones with permanent connections back to entirely unaccountable multinational corporations who don't pay their fucking taxes. Primitive AF.

It basically means people cannot use password managers for their GnuPG key passwords. The alternatives for most users are:
- use a shitty password (perhaps re-using it);
- use a key without a password.
The person who came up with this idiotic idea should get drawn and quartered.

Can anyone recommend any books/articles/essays/comics/etc to explain #depression to the partner of someone with it? Something to help the SO through it?
I've only ever been me my whole life, it affects how I understand things. But there are some things I really want to understand, and I think to do that I need other peoples perspectives. I also don't want to tax people when they just can't, so I would really super utterly appreciate links to communities that could help me understand gender, allosexuality, and alloromanticism.
