When I first saw STARSHIP TROOPERS, I had two reactions.
1. This has to be satire.
2. The director and producers didn't read the Heinlein novel.
Turns out I was right on both accounts.
@starbreaker I always thought it was obviously a take on nazis. It's only recently I learned that some people don't actually see that... Wtf?
@ebel Some people don't have the education or the intelligence to recognize satire. And sometimes reality is too ridiculous to satirize.
