Man, so much tech rage these couple days. Is there a GOOD lightweight map app for #Android? Google Maps is a bloated POS with a lot of inaccuracies.

@deutrino OsmAnd is pretty chubby, but it slices and dices - you can probably find a lighter OpenStreetMap app.

Great app, works offline + if its inaccurate you can correct it.
Disable mapillary (on by default) if you dont want the owners of that service knowing where you been looking every time you browse the map, even when not checking their photos, + it also makes the app lighter.

@dazinism @calvin @deutrino I often use OSMAnd, but it's "designed" like a lot of open source software. All the config options! Somewhere!

Maps.me is nice and easy for new users. Like OSMAnd, you can do offline maps for free. Downside: They have a tie in with booking.com so they show hotels from there.
