A discussion about gender biases in an open source project & seeing some creeping cissexism/dog whistle transphobia. 😢😢
Specifically seeing people say "condoms are male, feminine hygiene is female". And "gender is social, sex biological", which feels like a step away from someone telling a trans person they aren't really that sex. 🙁🙁
I presume cis straight women might need to use condoms? Maybe if they use insertable sex toys? Granted, it's an edge case... (and I might be wrong)...

@ebel Yes, absolutely. Insertable toys, if you plan to share them (or if they're just made of a bad porous material) are safer to use with condoms, plus also cis straight women will carry condoms simply because like... sometimes men don't. Also, there are dental dams for eating someone out, and there are internal condoms.
Also even even with fingering it can be safer to use a condom, rubber gloves, or something if a. you feel like washing your hands isn't enough, or b. you have nails
