#Germany/#Berlin folx, a Question:
I'm thinking of staying at Jugendgaestehaus Hauptbahnhof, but it's run by the church. They're house rules forbids sexuality based discrimination.
Yet I am cautious. Is there any record/history of this hostel turning away same sex couples? Or not giving them a double bed/etc?

@ebel which church? The protestant church here is pretty tolerant. Maybe just send them an email and ask, I guess that'd be the only way to know for sure.
@masu @ebel it is run by the protestants (mentioned in a tiny box in top left hand corner).
What can confuse English speakers is this is usually translated as "Evangelical" - theologically correct as not all are Lutheran (some from other Reformed branches) but in English this is associated with the more conservative evangelicals! 1/2

TBH I think the worst that could happen is a conservative type might register the same sex couple as "disabled person plus carer" (but *not* otherwise treat them any different as that could well be illegal in Germany, I also suspect a religious conservative wouldn't volunteer there anyway!)
That said if I had the choice, free time and money I'd pick one of the other two guesthouses as they sound like a bit more fun!
