Today is the 2nd anniversary of the successful yes vote in Ireland's same sex marriage vote. The George, one of Dublin's oldest gay bars, was vandalized with swastikas and homophobic insults. 😡😕🙁😠
@ebel definite cause for concern. worst thing is the lettering actually readable, swastikas the correct way round in context of Nazi-imagery, usually fash aren't as "artistic" as that.
Graffiti writing is not *that* easy to do readably - hints that whoever did it has some previous experience. but like handwriting has unique styles; hopefully affected orgs / gardai have photos and are comparing 4 patterns (like how vandalism on transport networks is dealt with)
