ARGH I hate how dysphoria never feels the same way with the same stimulus. So I ask some anime/manga loving pals if there's any good manga that actually address gender well. I mean, I'd just seen Your Name, and reading Haruki Murakami helped me describe my dysphoria better.
BUT THEN I go and google prunus girl, forgetting how much manga fans and chan culture intersect, and somehow seeing "trap" really fucking hurts today, even though it just made me roll my eyes in the past.
Dumb brain.

@drcable I imagine. It's crazy how culturally tied our ideas of gender and thus transness are. Sometimes I wonder if I'd be third-gender if my culture had more established third genders.
