Do you have adhd? I was diagnosed several months ago, and am only now seeing how much it affects my life, and where.
@Fritillaria I was diagnosed with adult ADD 2 years ago and suddenly, a lot of my "oddities" and struggles made perfect sense. Hesitated to take medication. Now I do and it helps me big time.
@Fritillaria basically, yes. Methylphenidate only acts for a few hours and when it wears off, you're back to your old unmedicated self.
@Fritillaria Also, as mentioned, some days (e.g. sundays) I omit it. These are usually days when I don't need to be very organized and can afford to slump around a bit.
