I found out two weeks ago that you can just hover your debit card above the card reader at lidl if it's got a wifi symbol on it, and BAM! your payment is made!

you don't even have to type in your pin code when it is less than 25€. it's more dangerous if you lose your card but it's so convenient otherwise, it's even faster than paying with cash.

I don't know if it's my baker-me, but I always try to work together with the cashier at checkout to make the process super smooth and be done quickly. hm. that is definitely my baker-me..

international womens day feels weird and oldfashioned to me today.

a few people at work mentioned it and a customer (a woman) of our bakery gave the women bakers some chocolate, which was really nice of her, still...

I don't know if the struggle against a sexist system is still worth fighting along those binary gendered lines. it would be nicer if all people who don't fit into the heteronormative binary sexist system or are oppressed by it even if they fit, would unite their struggles.

that's why "womens day" feels dated to me.. and also seeing myself as a woman feels dated.

the lock screen of my phone displayed a news article headline in german about how women in academia have less and less kids. without any hint why that may be, of course.

that's what's considered a women's day topic here in germany..

I need to get a tooth fixed, it's going to cost a shitload of money that I luckily have saved, but I need an additional health insurance just for my teeth and the agent has their office a 2 hour bike ride away, which is why I didn't get around to do it yet. ugh..

doesn't matter for this one tooth though, because it had problems before I planned to get insurance and anything that was a "case" before then will not be covered anyway.
