another workday and I have to try to prevent the cat from getting out because then I would have to put her back inside because if I can't she had to stay outside for the whole day!

my ideal way of travelling would be leaving my home just by foot or on a bicycle and going slow. but I could totally imagine myself going quite far, like doing that for a few months.

but that's not really possible because of #work and #cat

but I could take my bike and ride from here to somewhere else for a week or two and still finding something new for the next ten years :D

I'm reading this article about "greener" cars and how we can't make individual transportation green enough to compensate for the sheer amount of transportation that's going on today, in comparison to 50 years ago. also how much more people travel very far.

and then I feel a bit better for being so weird because I don't like to travel far away. I have really never left the small conintent (europe) where I was born and probably never will, if it's not out of necessity.. I don't know what it is. I love seeing places. But it's super strange for me to imagine going far away, around the world, anything like that.

instead of doing nice things like #yoga and #painting I've decided to clean in the house. since my flatmate is gone for a few weeks I'm the only one left here to do cleaning. I like cleaning and seeing results and having a comfy place!

but I'd rather do other stuff today.
but it's so necessary and I have to work a lot this week too, so yeah I'm going for it.

I love my profession but I never liked to bake at home. and I don't like it now.

it's weird but what works for me is: you shouldn't marry a person you love, and you shouldn't do something for a living that you like to do as a hobby.

I'm just listening to an interview of 3 #metal guitarists on youtube and they are talking about how relaxing and good it is for them to listen to music with no guitars in it. 😂

and also how they don't play guitar in their free time, like..

in my opinion if a food claims to be an iconic "easy meal" like mac and cheese, then it ought to be more simple to make.

like.. you have to get 3 pans dirty to make it, how complicated is that?

you cook the pasta in one pot, then you make a bechamel cheese sauce in another pot and lastly you add it to a third dish to put it in the oven?

really I'm just pissed off that I wanted to cook it and then it was too much fuss and waiting time. lol

and then there were black trekking pants at lidl for 10€ and they fit me perfectly and even if they don't hold up for so long that's okay, better than those 50€ pants that didn't hold up eighter. they are super comfy and black. yay.

#metal update for the #archenemy merch question, why they had a hockey shirt with an 18 on it.. and they wrote me back that it's for the year 2018, that last year they had a 17 on them, and that they are a progressive and anti-fascist band.

#metal so yesterday #archenemy had their hockeyshirt in the merch booth and it had the number 18 on it.

I was made aware that it's because it's 2018 but an 18 on a sports team shirt is such a nazi code, one should really think twice about it.

I would never buy that. I like the idea but I would wait until next year or try to get one from last year.

I've written to one of those official band adresses and asked why there was an 18 on it because it simply didn't occur to me that it could be because of the year.

I just researched a bit and while the guitarist is not calling the performance drag, he said, he is into androgynous features and gender confusion, and if people would put him/the band in the girly, femme or gay category for that, that would not hurt.
