@naimoe I only read this now.. I try two work through it, sometimes I try to accept it, sometimes I try to distract myself from it. Eventually it goes away or the stuff gets resolved. I actually try not to put it into public social media. because I don't want people to know about my fears and sadnesses so they can't use the information against me.

so I don't try to stay positive online because I think negativity is bad.. rather I try to protect myself.

@moondunes I think the old ladies' groups are also a thing where I live, and there are of course knitters who talk about their husband and kids all the time, there's nothing wrong with living like that, but acting like that's the "normal" way to live is always a no-no for me..
I left some knitting related facebook groups because it got too annoying for me!

@balouqlc yes, it's a content warning. the content of the post is hidden if I put a CW label on it, and people can choose to read or not.
but you can also use a CW to label a thread or to hide too long posts.

i wonder how CW toots work for you? does the screenreader read the label and then the content? do you get to choose if you want to read the content or not?

@moondunes my experience in the knitting world is that there are a lot of LGBT* people in the community :)

especially the knitters who meet over the internet and ravelry.

@balouqlc @ghost @pastelbat I looked at the source code for the site and it's exactly like in the article about accessibility you posted. it's not a graphic, and not a button, it's some styled div container..
