@elomatreb computers were EXTREMELY expensive. the main word people said on the TV was "kosovo". when you took a picture, in order to see it, you had to go to a shop & they gave you a little folder full of photos. people mostly listened to music on tapes still since cd were shit as you couldnt make your own. when you wanted to talk to someone you called them up on the telephone. theyd answer by saying "hello"
@jk @elomatreb I remember in east berlin we didn't have phones, and if we wanted to talk to someone we would walk to where they lived and leave a note on the door if they weren't at home 😂
